Privacy policy
Elusive Depot Books, by Elusive Depot · Effective October 28, 2026
Elusive Depot Books keeps the books for eBay sellers who dropship from Amazon. This page says what we collect, what we never keep, and what you control.
Disclaimer: This is an independent third-party tool not affiliated with or endorsed by Dropship Calendar. Using this service requires connecting your eBay account, forwarding Amazon order emails, and accessing reports through Discord, which may involve sharing sensitive customer and financial data. Dropship Calendar has not verified the tool's security, privacy practices, or accuracy. Please review the permissions and this privacy policy before connecting your accounts. Use at your own risk.
What we collect
- From eBay, when you connect it (read-only, through eBay's official API): your orders (order numbers, items, amounts and dates), eBay's fees, refunds and payouts.
- From the Amazon emails you choose to forward, or that we fetch from an Outlook mailbox you connect: order numbers, totals, dates, and the ship-to first name, city and state. A connected mailbox is read only for emails from Amazon's order addresses; nothing else in it is opened or kept.
- From Amazon's order-history file, if you upload one: order numbers, dates, totals, status, item names, and the ship-to first name and ZIP code.
- From you: your store's name, your email address, and roughly how many orders you get a month.
What we never keep
- Your buyers' names or addresses. A buyer's first name, city and state are used only to match an Amazon purchase to the eBay sale it filled, and are kept only as a one-way fingerprint that can't be read back.
- Your passwords. You connect eBay on eBay's own page; we never see your eBay or Amazon password.
- Any email that isn't from Amazon. Forwarding sends us only what your rule sends; a connected Outlook mailbox is searched only for Amazon's emails. Your Microsoft access is stored encrypted.
How we use it
Only to keep your books: profit on each order, monthly summaries, tax set-aside figures and year-end reports, for you. We don't sell or share your data, and we don't use it for advertising.
Payments
Subscriptions are paid through Stripe. We never see or keep your card number; we keep only Stripe's customer and subscription references and whether your plan is paid.
Where it's kept
On our own server in the United States. Your eBay access is stored encrypted, and your books are kept apart from every other customer's.
What you control
- Disconnect eBay at any time in your eBay account settings, under the apps you've authorized.
- Stop forwarding by deleting the forwarding rule in your email, or disconnect Outlook on your Amazon emails page (we delete our access) or in your Microsoft account.
- Ask us to delete everything and we will, within 30 days. When eBay tells us an account has been closed, we delete that account's data.
Not tax advice; figures are estimates
Elusive Depot Books is a bookkeeping tool, not a tax preparer, accountant or advisor. Every figure it produces — profit, expenses, tax set-aside amounts and the Schedule C workbook — is an estimate generated from the data you connect and the emails you forward, and is only as complete as that data. It is not guaranteed accurate, it is not a filed tax return, and it is not tax, legal or accounting advice. You are responsible for reviewing everything with a qualified tax professional before you file or rely on it.
